Default 2nd line?

I have a thread on dslreports, but I'm not having any luck. Perhaps someone here can help.

I have a 1001 on the BYOD plan. after provisioning i noticed my 2nd line is disabled. i'd like to have FWD on the 2nd, so i'm trying to get that turned on again.

the suggestions from dslreports are:
1.) to get my sip username and password - BV support just told me don't me i don't have a sip username or password. they said the default username is useradmin, so maybe that's the sip username anyway?
2.) to get my config file - which i did, but it did not have a field P35 for sip username and P34 for sip password
3.) to tell them i'm provisioning a generic device rather than my 1001 and to ask for my credentials - BV support told me my config file is my credentials.

any ideas? i can send the config file, with indentifying info removed. thanks!

(btw: my other thread's @ http://www.dslreports.com/forum/rema...7419~mode=flat )

Default RE: 2nd line?

Sip Username is your 10 digit BV phone number, also the Auth ID. The password to register your SIP crednetials is in the same location on the config file as the AuthID (which you have actually replaced with "Removed", so you must've seen them?). Admin_Passwd lets u enter the SPA config pages once they've been locked by BV provisioning. What part are you getting stuck at?

I use a SPA-1001 and BV. I have BV on line 1 and FWD on line 2. No problems at all. If BV does disable line 2 on you just pull down their config then set Provision Enable to NO and set up FWD again on line 2.
