| | 1st CellPhone-->2ndCellPhone-->DocknTalk-->Sipura30 Hi! All
I am wondering if anyone has been able to make the following flow work :
1st CellPhone-->2ndCellPhone-->DocknTalk-->Sipura3000->BV & vice versa.
When i call from Cell Phone I get second dialtone but when i dial any number it does not get dialled correctly - either some digits repeat or are missing which i can see on Info page of Sipura.
I am using latest firmware ( 3.1.3a ) of Sipura & i have set DTMF Process INFO: to NO and DTMF process AVT: to NO under PSTN line tab but that did not help.
Please let me know if there is a way to make this work. |

| | RE: 1st CellPhone-->2ndCellPhone-->DocknTalk-->Sipu Have you diagnosed your problem step by step, link by link? For example, assuming that your BV credentials are programmed into PSTN Line, can you put these credentials in gw1 also and make successful calls that way? Can you dial out via the DnT @gw0? Is the sound good? Can you set Ring PSTN Line on Line 1 to "yes" and receive calls from your cell phone? Is the sound good?

| | RE: 1st CellPhone-->2ndCellPhone-->DocknTalk-->Sipu Hi! Mberlant,
Yes i am able to make outgoing calls from Line 1.
The Line 1 phone rings if i set PSTN Ring Thru Line 1: Yes & call from the cell phone & after some seconds i even get second dial tone. The problem comes when i dial a number after getting the second dial tone. |

| | RE: 1st CellPhone-->2ndCellPhone-->DocknTalk-->Sipu Hi! Mberlant ,
i have PSTN Caller Default DP: 1 and Dial Plan 1: (xx.)
I had also tried Dial Plan 1: (*xx|#xx|[3469]11|0|00|[2-9]xxxxxx|1xxx[2-9]xxxxxxS0|xxxxxxxxxxxx.) which is the dial plan on my Line 1 but that also did not help. |

| | I am experiencing a similar situation with the same setup: calls to a cellular phone connected to a Dock-n-Talk GW, connected to the SPA3000 (as PSTN).
I get the SPA dialtone for the second stage dialing, but the DTMFs from the PSTN side are not transmitted correctly to the VoIP side - either missing digits, doubled digits (i.e. if I dialed a DTMF of "7" the SPA would dial tot he IP "77") or wrong digits.
I tried various FXO Impedance values and PSTN-to-SPA Gain values but without success.
Any suggestions would be VERY appreciated.
Thanks |

| | a_c1 / OV you both never post the cell network selection and the type cellphone you are using.
Anyway here are my findings:
On GSM cell network I tested with two Motorola cellphones and it work 100% perfect! GSM Quad-band v600 & Tri-band v60
On CDMA network I have the same problem you both been having.
When I was trying with CDMA network I did some experiments but was NOT able to get the DMTF working. I also played around with PSTN Line tab [VoIP PIN Digit Timeout:/PSTN PIN Digit Timeout:]. I adjusted both between 10 and 20 without any luck. I did notice whenever I made the adjustments after dailing in and check the Info tab DTMF was almost perfect expect for the 1st 1-2 digits. The 1st 1-2 digits would have repeat. I have tested with two different CDMA Motorola v60c/T720 cellphones. Anyway I gave up on the CDMA network. MAYBE you both can try playing with [PSTN Dial Digit Len:].
I never did, I just used my GSM.
I also notice on the sipura 3000 under Line 1 & PSTN Line DTMF does not work correctly when using low bandwidth codec eg. g723/g729 with certain VOIP providers. These are the settings I use for both Line 1 & PSTN Line. I also use these setting with G711u/a.
DTMF Process INFO: no
DTMF Process AVT : yes
DTMF Tx Method : AVT
On GSM network I did NOT make any adjustments except for the 3 mention above which are GENERAL in my opinion when using g723/g729. |

| | voxBaby,
Same experience - perfect operation with GSM (although using a different cellular GW). The difficulty I experience is with CDMA.
DTMF works though on CDMA in general, so I believe there should be a setting that would resolve this. |
