Default Windows Mobile 6

Assalam-o-Alaikum
As far as I have seen, everyone here is talking about the WM5. I was hoping if any one here would help me out with the buitin option of the WM6. I recently got the HTC Touch, and I have enabled the VoIP feature which was locked by the service provider. However I have no idea how to configure it. I would be really greatful if anyone would take a look at it. Thank you.

Asalam-o-Alikum!

I am curious.

Did the Touch came with a VOIP software or you installed one of the third party softwares?

hmmm,

Is it using one of the the third party written softwares to edit the xml file to enter the VOIP info?

I have already tried that and it will not work with BrainTel. The reason being that it requires G.729 codec which does not come standard with Windows Mobile 6.

But try and share the result of your experiment. It might work on your device. Can you provide more details on what information you have to enter? I can help you out.

Asslamu-Alaikum,

I have found solution to use Braintel with Pocket pc. I have tried using VOIP coming with WM6 and it work great. What i did i have used voxalot.com as mid VOIP to convert codecs.

I have registered Brintel account in voxalot and using pocket pc to use voxalot to call using Braintel. Hopefully it is not confusing.

Have fun...

Regards,
Bilal

But don't you have to pay $15/year to add 'one' SIP subscriber? I am sort of confused by the converter in the middle? Seems overall a great site.
