Well just tried to install the software installtion went fine now problem is that there is no way i can change the sip listening port from 5060 to 8891 as under the options/settings /network is grayed out that is where one can do the settings hence i am not logging in to the brain network any takers i am thinking of uninstalling this application and redo with the older one which is V2.2

Did you entered the SIP port as: chat.brain.net.pk:8891?

Changingsip listening port from 5060 to 8891 should make much difference!

I will try to contact USMAN and ask him to shed some info on this issue.....

Actually I did that as i understand that listening port of the server is 8891 , and I also have pin pointed the issue as well but alas I cannot resolve it , the issue is that under options / system setting / network is grayed out which mean I cannot access it the rest two are available which are tunnel and sip proxy setting . when the softphone tries to log in it is still listening port 5060 as that is set in network section which I cannot access? because it is grayed out I have Dopod 838 pro with windows mobile 5.0 as OS , Skype works fine infect works like normal phone that’s why I though I also could use Briantel on this system cum phone

If you are able to use skype you should be able to use BrainTEL without any problems.
Listening port can be any, but better to have 8891 but SIP account authentication port must be 8891.
I haven't used this soft phone on any handheld device and can't comment much, I am trying to contact the person who originally posted this information at BrainTEL forums, and it may take some time.....

Thanks Mirza Sb. In the mean while I did try to actually paid also about US$ 40.00 for it AEGphone , the one I mentioned in my first post as to my understand so far xpro was designed for windows pc2003 and there are huge possibilities that it wont work on windows mobile 5.0 which is true in my case as network section being grayed out .Now it worked fine I mean to the point of logging into the Briantel system but any number I dial I get busy code 503 message I called braintel support and went through with them the setting required by them still no luck a very interesting point to note is that when I try to call braintel help line number it gives me busy code 603 and on any other land line number i get 503 . according to braintel it might be my wireless router which is causing this trouble. this weekend I am going to go through the router settings as well just to see if that is the cause but this is what I have experienced so far any clue , help from anyone is highly appreciated

I think xpro dosen't not have G.729 codec which is required to use briantel.
