How to run Braintel on N96

Salam,

I bought N96 and after several tries, I came to know that N96 doesn't posses any SIP client.

However, the SIP settings are available and my Braintel shows a status connected but I dont have any sip client in my mobile for the calls.

I have tried to use ''fring'' but it gave me REGISTRATION FAILED error message.

Somebody please help me in this regard and tell me how to run my Brain tel account on N96.

Hi,

Better consider getting Nokia E-series phone as Nokia principally stopped SIP in all coming N-series phones.

Hi,

Only following Nokia Phones has got SIP client hard coded in Symbian OS, for details, visit:

I have tried many softwares on different phones but nothing compares to Nokia built-in code, the voice quality and stability has no match.

Consider selling your phone or you may try Fring, Gizmo Truphone etc.
