Post Re: Pakistan Call from US

When free minutes or free days are over lowratevoip charges US 4.4 cent per minute to all landline and mobiles.

Still BrainTEL is the best

pakcards.webs.com
Cheapest way would be through this website. You get 17 minutes for 0.25 cents. I don't kow how you can beat that. You can also get All pakistani channels or Dramas to watch online and many many more things only at

The fine Print on joiphone is:
: If cell phones are not listed they are not included in this plan. Please verify that your destination is included in the plan otherwise you will be charged applicable per minute rate charges. Free calls and standard rate does not apply to certain call types such as UK premium special services and or non-geographical numbers. When your account reaches 800 minutes per month our low In't rate (Click Here) will be applied. International Rates may change.

http://www.joiphone.com/index11.aspx

Its not unlimited... It has a 800 minute/month limit and after that regular rate apply. Not worth I believe
Thanks

Mirza G:
What about www.voipraider.com. They are offering 1 cent per minute to landline and 1.5 cents per minute for cell phones in Pakistan. This is even cheaper than lowratevoip and even Braintel.

"Buying credits entitles you to 30 Freedays (unless stated otherwise). This means you can call all countries in the free* destinations list for 30 days at no costs. When the 30 days are over, you will keep your credit, and the normal rate will be charged for these destinations."

My suggestion don't go for it, if you will be able to keep record of your free minutes and able to use your 10 Euro on other expensive calls every month than fine; they have done good calculations. You should get unlimited US/Canada dialling plan on your cell or home phone and use www.dialnow.com and register your phone numbers on the website and use Canadian access number to call call Pakistan, it costs about 2.2 cent per minute for landline and mobiles; its like using PIN less calling card.

As Riz sugested and if your parents have highspeed Intenet, you both can have two ATA's connected for free SIP to SIP calls using vbuzzer.com free account using port 80!

Still nothing like BrainTEL if its working fine.

a.o.a,
Beaware that voipraider charge more then published rate. I have once tried but it is not worth. If you want to give try go ahead but it can be as costly as 7 ct. I just checked from my call log.

For more info visit http://www.ip-phone-forum.de/showthread.php?t=86424

Best regards.

Yes. you are right. If you use SIP device, then you will be charged around 7c per minute but if you use client, then rates appearing on their website are valid. I have checked both rate i.e. with client and with SIP device.
