Lightbulb New IP address and location!

BrainTEL SIP server has just been relocated with new provider, it's supposed to be HIDDEN change for subscribers

New IP address: 117.20.22.10:8891
SIP server addres: chat.brain.net.pk:8891

Seems to be good choice; this is much better and reliable business partner

Verizon

Mirza the great: Thanks for update and no wonder why I am having problem since a while to log on from eyebeam.
My ATA PAP2 of course can log on properly but strangely when I try EyeBeam it says "login failed: unauthorized". Any guidance in this regard will be appreciated.
By the way new server name is "Asia Pacific Network Information Centre" somewhere in Milton, Austrailia

Post Re: New IP address and location!

For Xpro check these settings:
Domain/Relam: chat.brain.net.pk
SIP proxy: chat.brain.net.pk:8891

The Asia Pacific Network Information Centre (APNIC) is the Regional_Internet_Registry Regional_Internet_Registry for the Asia pacific region.

The SIP server is still in U.K and now hosted by Verizon business services.

Hi,

I am going to start using my Sipura after about 2 years due to stay in UAE. Now Alhamdulillah it is working fine for braintel.

One intresting thing i noticed today that i tried new proxy and even remove 8891 with SIP proxy of 5060. It works fine. So it looks like no more need to have 8891 port; as it will help to start forwarding calls from fwd etc. to my Sipura. But it looks like i have forgotten everything as now even i cant get even Sipbroker to work, I tried Mirza Jee Dial plan for Sipura and try to do clock test but not working. by dialing **393612. It shoewed in Sipura info page dialing *393612@sipbroker.com, but never got success to get the clock.

Mirza jee can you please try and let me know if it works....

Regards,
Bilal

Smile Re: New IP address and location!

Welcome back,

My suggested dial plan still works fine with sipbroker, only thing you have missed is to press # key at the end; to check time dial like this **393612# and to do echo test dial like this **393613#; you should also have codec G711 enabled for this VoIP line in your settings.

Its good discovery that now port 5060 can be used with new SIP server; I hope they enable codec G711 also…..

Dear Mirza,
In one of your forum configuration page the sip proxy is mentioned as 117.22.22.10:8891. But on most of the places it is 117.20.22.10:8891.
Please confirm which one is the correct 20 OR 22 afte 117.
Best Regards
QS

The address is 117.20.22.10, however, you should just be able to use chat.brain.net.pk:8891 and your DNS servers will resolve the IP address.

Riz

Post Re: New IP address and location!

I might have typed it worng, correct IP address is:
117.20.22.10:8891
and as suggested by Riz you can also use chat.brain.net.pk:8891 and that should be fine.
