Default Linksys Pap2t issues with Braintel

Hi every one,

For the last few weeks I have been having issues logging with Braintel while using the Linksys pap2t adapter. The device is unable to stay connected to Braintel for more than 2 minutes before dropping out and does not come back on line until I power cycle the adapter and then it drops out again after 2 mins. I have reset the adapter to the factory settings and setup the adapter again with the settings but no luck. I have even reset the router without any luck and even upgraded the firmware on the phone adapter. I have been using this device for nearly 10 months now without any issues before. Any help from any one on this matter would be greatly appreciated.

Can you do ping to chat.brain.net.pk and check your result; if it’s below 300 ms it’s good and if it’s more than 500 ms changing SIP T1 to 0.7 will help you, following changes should help you too:

Log on to the web page for your PAP2T using its IP address as user and then log on as Admin and change to Advanced View:
1. Click SIP on the top:
Go to SIP Timer values(sec)
Change these vales:
SIP T1: .7
Reg Max Expires: 1200
Reg Retry Intvl: 30
Reg Retry Long Intvl: 110

Default Re: Same problem with Linksys 3102 with Braintel

Dear Mirza,
Sometime exactly the same problem on my SPA3102. It remain connected for 2 minutes and then the connection dropped. It was behaving in a similar way two weeks back then you wrote to me to upgrade the firmware but as it started working i did not upgrade. Today after two weeks it again started behaving like this for one hour and again working properly.
Regards:

You should power cycle your router, ATA and modem (cable or DSL) to fix this problem. Check the configuration file for PAP2T I have attached in my post in this thread:
http://forum.voxilla.com/braintel-su...p2t-24869.html (Settings for Linksys PAP2T...?)
For SIP Proxy use only: chat.brain.net.pk:8891
do not use any IP address

Post Re: Linksys Pap2t issues with Braintel

The busy message is from PTCL or mobile calls or from BrainTEL numbers also?

I have replied on your e-mail for changing the SIP registeration time to 100 or 500, try it and if it won't work e-mail me your complete settings to check.

Number is busy from mobile and PTCL from the last 2 weeks. I tried the number on eye beam its working fine. I am using the same settings as of Linksys Pap2t. But result is same.

Previously using 5560 now using 8891 SIP port.
Register expires is 100 previously 2000.
