Default Eyebeam 1.5 - not Working

I am helping my brother in Saudi Arabia to setup account with eye beam 1.5 with settings in this forum @ http://forum.voxilla.com/braintel-su...5-a-19073.html (Settings for EyeBeam 1.5)
It logs in, registers properly, but when we make call, it rings but when picking phone, its dead. (I have another brain account which works fine on my side) The bell rings on both sides, but neither i can hear him nor he can hear me.
When he dials, it gives the ring, but when the phone is picked up nothing happens.
We tried everything, Uninstall, reinstall. But invain. I have to turn to this forum for help. Please give your suggestions.

The first thing is to use SIP server as "chat.brain.net.pk", 2nd importnat thing is to make sure you are entering the value for STUN server correctly, if the problem still presists do port forwarding on the router for port 5060 and make sure you use that port in the Eeyebeam also for BrainTEL.

Sorry to Say Mr. mirza you put the wrong settings in the reply,
1. you have to put in eyebeam of this version is Domain 'chat.brain.net.pk:891
2: you have to checl listen Port 8891
3: you have to put the listen RTP port 50901
4: as the Mr. Yazin said that he has the voice problem the he will check his audio settings and also there codes.
i think so it will help you out too much for all guys.

Hello bilzur,

Thanks for correcting me, they have been switching around the ports on their SIP server and it used to support both 5060 and 8891 but again it's only supporting port 8891 so that has to be specifically used.

RTP post is not important and I am not using port 50901 as recomended by BrainTEL support for my ATA and I do know many users who are also using different RTP port.

One way voice problem which Yazin is facing is due to his router capabilities and it can be easily solved using STUN server, I had this problem and solved it with usage of STUN server, similar problem with different VoIP services has been discussed in many forums and best solution has been to use STUN server.

i think so there is no need of stun server.

if you have done the above settings ur no. will be working fine.

These are the instructions from old post just updating them:

Click on the “+” sign next to “Add a new SIP account

Select “Enable this SIP account” or click in it to put a check in there
Display Name: Your name
User name: Your BrainTEL phone number
Password: Your BrainTEL password
Authorized user name: Your BrainTEL phone number
Domain: chat.brain.net.pk:8891
Under SIP Listen Port
Select “Manual override” or click in it to put a check in there
Change to 8891
Now on the left hand side under “Choose setting category” left click on “Firewall/NAT
On the right hand side under “STUN Server
Select “Manual override” or click in it to put a check in there
Put this value next to it: stun.fwdnet.net
(You can select any STUN server from this link:
http://forums.brain.net.pk/showthread.php?t=99)

Now again on the left hand side under “Choose setting category” left click on “Advanced
On the right hand side under “Register Settings
For “Reregister every” change to 500
For “Max. time” change to 1000

On the Bottom right hand side left click on "Apply" and then "O.K"
