BrainTEL Dial plan for Sipura/Linksys ATA’s (Updated) I posted older version of dial plan on BrainTEL fourms and its still there hiden; this is the updated version: (*xx|x|[2-9]xxxxxx|<42:042>[2-9]xxxxxx|1x.|03xxxxxxxxx|02xxxxxxxx|02xx11x.|0[4-9]xxxxxxxx|0[4-9]xx11x.|<555:2100800>) *xx
“*” This rule is telling the ATA that any number that can start with “*” followed by “xx” which could be any two numbers, this will allow the usage of ATA special features. x
This rule will allow the speed dial functionality of ATA. [2-9]xxxxxx
“[]” Brackets represent single number enclosed within, in this case, the number can be any between the range of “2 to 9”; it can be either 2,3,4,5,6,7,8 or 9 to fit the description, if “5” is dialed as the first character, it will fit this part of dial plan. “xxxxxx” specifies that there can be only six more numbers that can be added next to it and they can be any numbers. All local numbers consist of seven numbers so this rule is fulfilling this requirement. In this update you will see there is no “S0” so instead of dialing out right away it will wait for default three seconds before dialing out (that’s not such a long time to wait). <42:042>[2-9]xxxxxx
“<42:042>” Is specifying that “42” should be replaced by “042”, in order to use the call back feature of ATA using “*69”, CLID for all local numbers shows as “42210xxxx” it will be possible to use the call back feature of ATA’s with this dial plan feature. 1x.
This rule is specifying that number can start with “1” followed by any number and can be any length, for calling information, emergency and UAN numbers in Lahore. 03xxxxxxxxx
All mobiles numbers start with “03” followed by their respective two digit code and then customer number which is seven numbers long. In this rule ATA will allow numbers starting with “03” followed by further 9 numbers (2+7), anything that will full fill this rule will be dialed straight out. 02xxxxxxxx
This is for NWD dialing, all NWD codes start with “0”, this rule is specifying that numbers starting with “02” followed by any number and their length can be eight numbers, so if entered numbers full fills this rule its dialed straight out. 02xx11x.
For calling NWD emergency, information and UAN numbers, this rule specifies that numbers can start with “02” followed by any number two numbers specified by “xx”, followed by “11” and then any numbers of any lengths, specified by “x.” 0[4-9]xxxxxxxx
As we know “03” is assigned for mobile networks so another rule has to be defined for all NWD numbers that should not include it, in this rule “0” is the starting number followed by numbers from “4 to 9” specified by “[4-9]” followed by any numbers with maximum length of eight and then straight out. So this rule will fulfill the NWD calling rule for calling all cities of Pakistan which were not covered by the first NWD rule “02xxxxxxxx” 0[4-9]xx11x.
This rule will allow calling emergency; information and UAN numbers in other cites which were not covered by the previous rule “02xx11x.” <555:2100800>
For voice mail: “<555:2100800>” this rule will dial out “2100800” if “555” is pressed.
----------------------------------------------------------------------- Below dial plan is with sipbroker support but this will NOT allow the speed dial function or other built in ATA functions: (*xx|x|[2-9]xxxxxx|<42:042>[2-9]xxxxxx|1x.|03xxxxxxxxx|02xxxxxxxx|02xx11x.|0[4-9]xxxxxxxx|0[4-9]xx11x.|<555:2100800>|[x*][x*].<:@sipbroker.com>)
----------------------------------------------------------------------- Below dial plan is with sipbroker support but you will have to press “*” twice before it’s codes and this will also allow the speed dial function and other built in ATA functions: (*xx|x|[2-9]xxxxxx|<42:042>[2-9]xxxxxx|1x.|03xxxxxxxxx|02xxxxxxxx|02xx11x.|0[4-9]xxxxxxxx|0[4-9]xx11x.|<555:2100800>|<**:*>[x*][x*].<:@sipbroker.com>) |
