Ztdummy issue on Fedora 7

I am trying to compile asterisk 1.4 on fedora 7. I used live cd to install fedora. Compilation goes through fine but I get error when doing modprobe ztdummy. It gives following error

FATAL: Error inserting ztdummy (/lib/modules/2.6.22.1-41.fc7/misc/ztdummy.ko): Unknown symbol in module, or unknown parameter (see dmesg)

On dmesg it shows

ztdummy: Unknown symbol rtc_register
ztdummy: Unknown symbol rtc_unregister
ztdummy: Unknown symbol rtc_control

Anyone else had this issue ?

the issues seems to be with kernel 2.16+.
Real time clock has been removed in favor or high resolution timer.

you need to apply patch to ztdummy as per this bug
