Default Upgrading Asterisk

Hi all,
I was trying to upgrade my Asterisk installation, (1.0.0) but I faild.
Could someone indicate me where can I find a well descripted instruction to do it?

# cd /usr/src
# export CVSROOT=server:anoncvs@cvs.digium.com:/usr/cvsroot
# cvs login - the password is anoncvs.

# cvs checkout -r v1-0 zaptel libpri asterisk asterisk-addons asterisk-sounds

# cd zaptel
# make clean; make install
# cd ../libpri
# make clean; make install
# cd ../asterisk
# make clean; make install

I have a nice little shell script I wrote that pulls everything from the (dev) CVS and compiles it for you, if you pm me with your email I can send it to you. I didn't set it up to do stable releases, it does development (nightly) releases, so it could possibly break things, however it is what I use and only got one build thak broke anything.
