| I didnt' know that was possible, one would need access to the CID database in order to do so. How do you set up Asterisk to look up the name? Quote:

| Let Asterisk do the work. I currently can lookup names through AnyWho, Google, FoneFinder.net, my local SQL database, or any combo. http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&s...lookup&spell=1 http://nerdvittles.com/index.php?p=82 |

| I agree, let asterisk do the work, but to answer your question, Vitelity.net now provides it, at 0.9c ($0.009) a lookup, and they pass on ANI as callerid If the original caller ID (CPN) is fail or blocked. |

I guess that comes out to $1 per 100 lookups, I wonder if some are cached? I'll continue to use anywho and google lookup calleridname.agi script, but I wonder if they have up to date databases from the big guys "ATT", etc. |

| Hello, http://www.vitelity.net has toll free numbers with ANI(so you can still get CID even if people *67) and CNAM. |
