 RE: TDM400p settings for Singapore
The Singapore telephone network is pretty forgiving (technologically) in what it will accept as a client device. I would recommend that you change the opermode= setting for the following reasons. Reasons you may need to change the setting include impedance mismatch (not likely), inability to recognize the Singaporean Dial Tone (moderately likely) and inability to recognize incoming Ring Signal (less likely) and inability to interpret the Singaporean Caller ID information (more likely).
Even if you don't change the setting it is likely that your basic ability to dial and receive calls will work.
