Default SPA3K & *: Loud CLICK when answering PSTN call

I'm trying to get an SPA3000 and * box to work together to give our little company some simple PBX features.

I don't know if this is an * issue or Sipura (or even if I should consider it an "issue") but as soon as * answers a call coming in on the PSTN line on the SPA3K, the callee hears a disconcerting and loud click. It sounds weird if I then have * ring some extensions before bringing up the attendant.

Does anyone know what I'm talking about and is there a way to stifle this?

Or does this have to do with the Sipura and should I repost this over on the SPA forum?
