Wonderfull job Phoneboy, it worked for me on the 1st try. Now, I have just a small issue: since I'm using asterisk@home, I would like my inbound calls go to the 'Incoming Calls' settings rather than ring a single extension. Can I do that with a DID? by forwarding the extension to the from-pstn context? by putting a 'from-pstn' context somewhere? How exactly?

Hi Phoneboy, Great script, incomming traffic from 3000 pstn is now working, however when I try to send someting into the world (via my dutch telecom provider kpn), I will get a short ring and after that I will get a busy signal. I noticed that if the line is connected to my internal "old" phonecentral (or whatever it is called in english), I will get a dail tone, with a lot of noise on the line. Are there some localizations for the dutch kpn needed, (I already set the ones via the localisation wizzard on the site) or do I need to adjust some other timers??? Hope someone can help. Bernard

Hi Phoneboy, Thanks for publishing the script mate, it's great to see people sharing their stuff. I'm havin probs tho, and I'm sure it's something spakky I'm doing! Got Asterisk running on my PC (1.2.1) and have an SPA3k with the 3.1.7(GWc) firmware. I've run the script and the SPA seems to install it, but if I call my PSTN line it just rings and rings, nothing answers. Line1 has registered, but the PSTN line registration status is always 'Failed'. I'm sure I'm borking up the sip.conf and extensions.conf somewhere, but not sure where. Is it possible to post a full example of sip.conf and extensions.conf that works please chap? Then I can compare and contrast. I've setup business PABX on asterisk and Voicetronix hardware before, but using my SPA3k for a home server is getting me lost! Please help! Thanks in advance, and thanks again for publishing the setup script, Bon

Script worked for me, but the problemis, as per the settings i needed to put in, its forwarding all my calls to an extension, i would rather call in (from an external line) and get the Digital Receptionist, is there a way to change where it is pointing, when i dial 7777 it works for me (simulates the incoming call), but the way my SPA is setup now, everything seems to be an internal thing, everything goes straight to my from-internal context im using Asterisk@home Thanx again.

I seem to be having the same problem everyone else is having; although, line 1 is registering but the pstn is not. I can dial #,<Telephone #> and the call, of course, goes to the PSTN. However, if I just pick up the phone and dial, say, 18005558355, it dials but then nothing happens; the call doesn't go any where. If I dial Line 1 extension from the softphone on my computer, it rings. And, * is answering the phone correctly and forwarding my calls to the Line 1 Ext. But, I can not seem to dial ANY * extensions from Line 1. So, that's my scenario.

My problem is the same as many others. Everything works but when I get an incoming call, it doesn't go to asterisk, it only rings the Sipura extension. What can I do to get it to ring asterisk when I receive an incoming call from the phone company?
