Hi,
I have asterisk running at home/office with 2 x pstn's connected to 2 x X101P analogue cards in my * box.

I'm not entirely satisfied with the audio quality. Users complain the speech quality is a little low when they speak to me and I have to suffer bad incoming speech, sometimes with echo or the artifacts of the agressive_cancellation set in *.

Anyway I decided to take the plunge and order a SPA 3000 today.

How do people using them with * find the call quality PSTN in/out ?

Hi Mike,

I'm not in the UK (AU), but I'm using an spa 3000 at home. I've been using it for pstn and voip for a couple of months now and I have had no problems with voice quality. All in all, I have found the spa 3000 to be a very reliable device.

I am in the UK and am using the Sipura 3000 with asterisk.

Select the correct regional options and it works fine
Impeadance on FXO & FXS should be "370+620||310nF" and CallerID should be "ETSI FSK with PR(UK)"

Well I can confirm that in my setup, the call quality voip phone <> spa3000 <> PSTN is much better than the X101P!
