Default Sipura 3000 only rings Sipura extension?

I just installed a Sipura 3000. Everything works. I can call out and call in. The problem is that when someone calls in on the outside line connected to the Sipura (fxo), only the Sipura extension (fxs) rings. I have asterisk set up to send all incoming calls to an auto attendent (IVR) but it won't ring the IVR, only the Sipura extension. I have another fxo card in the computer and it correctly sends its incoming calls to the IVR.
I have one incoming route set up. It should send all incoming calls to the IVR. Since the only thing that rings when the Sipura is set up is the Sipura fxs extension, the callers never get to the IVR.
What can I do to get the Sipura outside phone line (fxo) to behave like all of the other incoming lines?

Sounds like a configuration issue...but you may want to watch the network traffic.
On your * box run
tcpdump -s0 -w capture.pcap
then you can download Ethereal for your computer and open that capture.pcap file...it will show you all the sip information pretty clearly and you can see if its even trying to pass the call to the * box.

You may also want to watch the asterisk CLI first (ssh into the box and run asterisk -r vvvv) . See if it shows anything during an incoming call.

But to me, it sounds like a configuration issue on the Sipura and since I dont have much expirence with them, I guess I cannot be of real help

It sounds like you have "Ring thru to Line 1" engaged on your PSTN Line page. This needs to be deactivated. Also, how did you configure your SPA-3000 for use with Asterisk? Did you use the Voxilla Wizard specifically designed for this purpose?

No, I used the configuration at www.nerdvittles.com. Would that make a difference? The nerdvittles setup does have "ring thru to Line 1" set to yes. I'll change that tomorrow and see if that helps.

It seems like an oversight that this feature was set in the nerdvittles tutorial. Assuming that the topic was integrating your SPA-3000 with Asterisk, it does not make sense.

I have always been sucessful using the Voxilla Wizard for Asterisk/3000, though always with hand-configured Asterisk, not AMP.
