Default A simple question about asterisk

Hi really newbie to asterisk. I have read some manuals, i do not know how to do what im going to ask, but i want know before if its possible.

I have a sip account with a geographical number in them. Could i divert to other sip account or other ip at least?. I want to receive local locals diverted to other province of my country.

Thanks.

Yes, this is possible. You could simply forward a call from one SIP account to another, you could have an extension on the Asterisk itself that picks up for multiple SIP accounts, etc.

Although one thing I do not follow, what do you mean by 'another province', as with VoIP/SIP you really have location indepedence. Might I recommend a look at this?:

IN my country geographical numbers are not portable by law. So if i move the terminal, im not being a good citizen

So i want to put an asterisk server to divert to my other house in other "state".

Thanks for answering. Until i buy mi fxo port card, i will make test with this things.
