Default setting Language in AMP

Hi,

I'm slowing moving to configuring my new Asterisk at Home (from 1.5 to 2.7) using AMP. One thing I need I can't figure out how to do is have different languages depending on the DID people ring.

Without AMP it was quite simple to do and I could therefore set message bank messages to be given in Spanish, French, Italian, English and other languages, depending on the number people had called.

Can i do the same think with AMP? If so, how?

Thanks a million

I don''t believe there is a way to do what you want with the langauges with AMP as there are no options for languages anywhere for extensions or trunks. You would have to do it like you were before.

too bad! I tried to outsmart AMP buy having an extension go to a custom command, set the language and then move to AMP 's incoming route using a Goto command... but it doesn't work. It just ignores the setlanguage command. I mean, the command IS noted and "exectuted" but nothing really happens...

Anyone thinking of another way to outsmart the English-only AMP?

Thanks

Ah, I did think that someone could set the Default language to something else in the [default] field of extensions.conf , but then everything would be in that language, so again, it's no use to me!!!
