Default Sending DTMF tones through

I have asterisk running and have an SPA3000 for access to the pstn. I need to access my Phone company Voice mail so I call the vm number and I must enter my password followed by #. However, # is the asterisk transfer a call command. I'd still like to retain call transfer ability. So how can I send a #.

Also when I make pstn calls and need to send dtmf tones sometimes the other end does not hear it or misses some digits.

Found an option in features.conf called blindxfer. Set it to ## as the default is #. So this solves my problem of sending #.

Not sure how to fix when the dtmf is not picked up on the other side sometimes. Tried entering slower and seemed to work a little better.

I have the same problem. DTMF is only about 50% reliable with calls on my SPA3000.
