Problem! Telasip ringback absent / incomplete, carrier prob?

Anyone having ringback problems for incoming calls from the PSTN via telasip? Basically the calling party does not hear or only hears partial ring back tone and sometimes silence. The destination extension(s) ring fine and the call can be picked up regardless of ring or no ring on the caller end. Telasip is currently working on it but I don't think they know exactly what's going on either. Anyone else having this problem? Call your telasip DID number and find out!

My number gives ringback to the pstn caller. 973-792 number. What are the first 6 digits of your number?

my stanaphone and gizmo/sipphone DIDs give ringtone to the caller with no problems. Only calls going to my Telasip DID is doing this. Sometimes it will even ring 3 full times and then silence or half rings...

My number is a level3 number while your number is a global crossing number. Some BV customers that have a Global Crossing Number have also complained of this problem. I would guess that this is Global Crossing and not Telasip even though they are ultimately responsible. If any of the BV customers that are not getting a ring back would post the first six digits of their number we could be more sure. The deeper I go into voip the more I'm finding out that Level3 is a much higher quality service than Global Double Crossing.

...I think you got it. I've sent an email to Gene asking to swith to Level3. I can't wait for this to be DONE with. Tired of using my Gizmo/sipphone DID for incoming calls.

great. Telasip claims they don't have a number in the 415 areacode. Can this get any more trying? Does anyone know if I can get Telasip to port it from Global Crossing to Level3?
