Default Problem running Samba on the Asterisk@home server

Has anybody been able to run Samba on the latest ver. of Asterisk@home. I have been trying uncessessfully for 2 days to get it working but port 901 keeps refusing my connection. Any help would be greatly appriciated.

Just curious why you'd want Samba on your Asterisk box. Asterisk@Home comes with SSH and secure FTP preinstalled. Do you really want to expose your server to all your Windows users??

After you install the Samba software, you might try installing WebMin and then configure Samba within WebMin. Unlike other WebMin installs, the Asterisk@Home version uses a username of root rather than admin with your root password to get in. It does a great job of getting all the settings just right.
