| I use to be sunrocket customer now i signed up with net2phone. Since sunrocket downfall i started reading n researching about VOIP and came across with Asterisk/Trixbox. I have one spare old computer on which i'm going to install Asterisk/Trixbox this weekend. I searched but couldn't find anyinfo to connect net2phone with Asterisk/Trixbox. I have few question I would like to ask you guyz. 1. Is there anyway to connect net2phone with Asterisk/Trixbox without investing in any new hardware? 2. Can I install 56k modems on Asterisk/Trixbox and connect with innomedia RJ11 port? 3. Is there any Voip provider who allow free outgoing or any kind of free outgoing promotion for couple of weeks? I want to test before i spend any money. 4. Any other suggestion you guyz can give me to finish my project this weekend. Thanks a lot |

| 1. Try this link: Asterisk settings Net2phone - voip-info.org 2. No. The dial-up modem is to connect to another modem over the PSTN. 3. A couple weeks? You may find one or two that will give you 5 or 10 minutes as a trial, but don't be afraid to spend five or ten bucks to "pre-pay" for a whole bunch of calling. Not a big deal... you'll spend 4-10 dollars on a magazine, or $3.95 for a coffee and think nothing of it. 4. Dunno... how long is YOUR weekend? I'm retired ! |
