Default N2P and asterisk

I have tried to get my n2p account to work with * but no luck so far. Might be due to not activating the account nor having a MAC address entered into n2p system.

My SR number ported 3 days ago but still no ATA delivered yet. I tried calling SR no and "we cannot connect you at this time 207" kind of message is spoken. Not sure if this is n2p or not.

Default Re: N2P and asterisk

The Innomedia arrived Thurs 8/30/07. It is now 9/3/7 and I have only gotten part way to having * work with them.

My router is running on Linux (no graphics) and so I am using tcpdump to capture packets and look at them. I found a user agent string to use but there ended up being two used. One ends with a date for the firmware. Other ends with my MAC address. The second appears to make them happy.

Now that I eliminated the 'invalid UA' error, I see 'invalid username/PIN' error. I logged in to telnet and was able to verify the accountname/no but not verify the PIN. I am still assuming it is the same as the web PIN.

Here is what I see:
1. request to register from my end
2. error 407 need auth
3. send auth
4. error 403 'invalid usename/PIN' (used to be invalid UA)

I notice that Innomedia has 6 or 7 url s for sip registration etc. Asterisk seems to only work with one.

Has any asterisk user gotten further than this ?
