Default low volume at other end

I have one SPA841 right now using IAX2 w/ VoicePulse. When I call people, they report that they have a hard time hearing me due to low volume (not echo). Everything sounds perfect on my end. I've searched this forum and the digium list and haven't found a specific answer. I see references to changing TX settings, but were would I change it, if I can at all? I think this is only possible w/ a card installed??

I don't know if it is the phone, * box, internet connection, etc. Any ideas on what to look for?

There are some gain settings you can adjust if you upgrade your SPA_841 firmware to the latest release.

At the risk of sounding even more stupid, I couldn't find any settings (I did upgrade last night to the new firmware) that I thought would affect the outgoing voice level. All the adjustments I saw seemed to be directly related to various sound functions only at the phone (handset, headset, speaker, etc.) Of course the phone is at home right now so, I won't be able to look at it again until tonight.

It's under "Phone" at the very bottom of the page.

Thanks, I'll look at that when I get home. Hopefully, my SPA3000 will get here today and I can start playing with that too.

OK, now that I'm at home I can look at the settings. All I see at the bottom of the "Phone" page are 3 settings labeled as "input". Are you telling me these settings affect output too?

The input gains affect the output of your voice, yes. The higher the gain, the higher the volume of your voice.

I never made any changes to the gain. After updating to the latest firmware, the people I called were reporting normal volume levels. I guess they made some changes in the firmware to boost output (but what do I know)?

Yeah, jperry22 and I noticed that after upgrading our firmware and doing some testing.
