Default Linking two Asterisk servers

I have two Asterisk systems (surprisingly called asterisk 1 and asterisk2) and I need to connect the two together with IAX2 with calles going in both directions. They are on the same LAN segment. i am new to this and after reading for two days all I am is more confused! Can anyone help me

I used the link to connect two boxes also, and it worked out perfectly. Thank you. I have a further question however.... Box A has two FXO ports that work well for outgoing calls. I can't figure out a way for box b's extensions to dial out to box A's outside lines. "Extension not valid" is what I get when trying to dial 9 from box B. I've tried setting up anouter route, but I'm afraid I don't know enough about it. Can anyone please point me in the right direction?
