| Hello, I'm trying to find the best way to setup Asterisk to deal with internal and external caller id. For each of my extensions (some Zap, some SIP), I define their CallerID in zapata.conf and sip.conf. This way, whenever I call another extension, the right caller id appears... My issue is that depending on which extension is dialing an outgoing number (going through VoipJet), I want a different caller id to appear. So far, I've used different contexts for the different "groups", but it doesn't scale very nicely in terms of management. What's the "standard" way of dealing with such issues? I'm contemplating using setvar in sip.conf to specify another variable to be used for outgoing calls, but zapata.conf doesn't have such a directive! Thanks for any help, Maan |
