DIDx.net and Asterisk
Hi all.
I've signed up with didx.net and got their 2 free DIDs to play with before going full speed.
I've set up my asterisk server but for some reason I cannot:
1) extract information on what DID call comes in
2) pass any dtmf digits into my system
has anyone got didx.net DIDs and what it the setup you're using?
thanks in advance.

Re: DIDx.net and Asterisk
Their service is supposedly for wholesale providers. However looking at the member to member prices, they seem higher than some retail prices I have seen.
Am I missing something are there hidden prices somewhere else?
I emailed in last night but have not received a response.
I will give it a day or so.

Re: DIDx.net and Asterisk
I've looked at didx.net suggested configuration ... may be i'm overlooking something obvious but it still doesn't work. And I know that is on Asterisk side because i tried their echo test and it works fine.
I've set incoming call DTMFmode to rfc2833. Also I can't seem to extract DID# from incoming call.
Any other ideas?

Contact support? Are these free or purchased? I wonder how the vendor provides support when you purchase a did? Do they release contact info then?

Re: DIDx.net and Asterisk
I assumed that support was email only for the free.
My question pertained to WHO provides support for the paid ones. Didx or the Vendor...

Re: DIDx.net and Asterisk
Not sure. Why don't you check with DIDx?

Support is provided by DIDx, they communicate with the vendor on your behalf.
DTMF works fine to me, and I have no problem to recognize which DID is called, it's elementary asterisk dialplan logic.
