Default Configuring Asterisk@Home with SIP phones

Hello, this is a result of this previous post:
http://voxilla.com/forum-viewtopic-t-1454.html

Quote:
Asterisk does not yet have STUN in its repertoire. This means that you must either put the Asterisk server in public internet space or manually assign a unique SIP port and RTP port range to each of your ten SIP registrations and to forward the two port ranges manually through your router to the Asterisk box.
How is this done? Is there a huge risk putting the Asterisk server in public internet space?
It sounds like the easiest option... Otherwise, could any one please tell me how I can manually assign a
unique SIP port and RTP port range to each on my SIP services?

Please note that I'll be using Asterisk@Home.

Thanks again,
manny

I am using *@Home also and I just have the ports forwarded to my * box. I was able to have my home phones connect to it with nat=never, and phones outside my router (laptop at work, a friend at UK, a friend at Okinawa, and a friend at Denvor) connect to it via Nat=yes. no problems whatsoever. (NOTE: my friends are currently using x-lite. I am going to get another SPA2K for my parents in Taiwan)
