| I have Digital PSTN line, and planning to use pbx for my requirements. It will be very small PBX system. Can someone please suggest me cheap hardware cards to use with Asterisk or any other software. |

| It is not ISDN line but it's actually a Toll Free number terminating in a singal line. This single line has got 2 numbers attached to it as of now. It is terminating just like normal PSTN Lines in a single cable and normal phone jack. The service provider is MTNL India (Mahanagar telephone nigam limited) I want to setup small pBX with asterisk. Where asterisk or any other software would lift the incoming calls and wld trasfer the calls over ip to my local lan desktops. I am looking for the economical hardware to use with asterisk, which I can use with this line for this set up. Thanks |

| If they terminate to a 'regular phone jack' then you just need an FXO card. The x100p can be found on ebay for like $10 USD. However it can be problematic at best... The Digium hardware is considerably more expensive but works quite well. You may also want to look for a Sipura ATA- great price and great functionality. You'll need to split the two lines though...you can get an adaptor that will do that. Most FXO ports are made to deal with 1 pair of wires and won't recognize a 2nd pair for a 2nd line.

| It seems like he has two phone numbers ringing on one physical POTS line. The two numbers will be inseparable regardless of how they are processed through Asterisk. I agree with SpaceBass that your two viable alternatives are a real Digium FXO card or a Sipura SPA3000.
