I was not getting callerid when the pstn was connected to my x100 card. I added a Sipura 3000. The way that I set it up, all incoming calls went to Line 1. I received callerid info. When I change the "Pstn ring thru Line 1" to "no" so that the incoming calls would go through asterisk, I stopped getting callerid info. So my problem seems to be a configuration issue with asterisk rather than a problem with my hardware. So the question is: How do you configure asterisk to pass callerid info?

I have "immediate answer" set to "no" but Asterisk answers immediately anyway. Is there a setting, other than "immediate answer" to get Asterisk to not answer so quickly?

I think that you are correct but that doesn't solve the problem. The problem is that I don't know how to tell Asterisk to delay answering the call. The pstn comes right out of the wall so to have asterisk delay answering, I must configure asterisk not the line. I don't know how to configure asterisk to delay answering. Question: How do you configure asterisk to delay answering? I have "immediate answer = no" but I have not seen any other setting to delay answering. Even with "immediate answer = no", asterisk answers after one ring.
