Default Asterix PBX, Presence Manager, which ???

My provider uses Asterix PBX to control the lines..
We use Eyebeam Soft-phones..

The presense system in Eyebeam supports WebDAV and XCAP, but what would you suggest to use ??

And what do they do, are they hard to setup ?

Default RE: Asterix PBX, Presence Manager, which ???

I use Jabber/XMPP in conjunction with Asterisk as there are not enough opensource implementations of SIMPLE (or enough of them at all at the moment). These sources may assist you:

Counterpath's description of their SIMPLE server

- Webdav == Web-based Distributed Authoring and Versioning

eyeBeam can be configured simply to store the contact and privacy lists on the WebDAV server specified in the Server-side Storage configuration settings page for the SIP account. Although WebDAV permits storage and access to the lists from multiple locations, the documents cannot be updated simultaneously without loss of information.
- XCAP == Extensible Mark-up Language (XML) Configuration Access Protocol

Hope this helps to create some clarity. There are commercial servers out there that support this that could be used in conjunction with Eyebeam.
