| Could some help me with the following configuration: We run Asterisk in the Head office and have a branch office with 1 x PSTN line connected to a SPA 3000. I have a branch office in another state. 1. The incoming PSTN needs to ring the analogue phone connected to the SPA 3000. (and not relay it to asterisk - yet ! (later implementation)) 2. We would like to use this to dial out local numbers if needed. 3. Need to be able to contact the SPA3000 as an extension (from the asterisk server) We will be moving our 1300 number to a set of DID's in the near future. Thanks |

| Hi just been googling for info and read your post Having just setup an SPA3000 I may be able to help. Ok you need to define an extension in * to be used by the Line 1 interface on the sipura spa 3000. When you have done this login to your spa3000 as admin and select the line 1 tab. in the proxy section add the IP address of your * server. In the subscriber section add the user ID and password of the extension you have just defined on your * box. Submit all changes, when the spa reboots check to see that it says registered on the info screen. You should now be able to dial the phone conected to the spa from asterisk. To pass incoming PSTN calls to the phone connected to the spa goto admin advanced. Click on the PSTN Line tab, look down the page until you find PSTN-To-VoIP Gateway setup, select NO in the PSTN-To-VoIP Gateway enable box. Select yes in the PSTN Ring Thru Line 1 Box, Select Yes in the PSTN CID For VoIP CID box. Look further down the page till you see FXO Timer Values (sec), change PSTN answer delay to 0 (zero). Modify the PSTN Ring Thru Delay to a value from 1-3 depending on your telco's way of sending CID. Hope this helps :-) |
