| Hiya, I have come across an Asterisk problem and am looking for a workaround .. perhaps someone had had same experiance and could share their findings / solution ?? I have a fully configured and operational Trixbox system (v2.1.3) - all is fine and the system works great! I have recently signed up for 2 different accounts with same provider - both of these accounts have same host (sip.pennytel.com) BUT have different numbers and registration details. The * server is able to register each account - but this is where things go wrong (each individual account - if registered on its own works fine on both the incoming and outgoing calls) as the tow accounts have a problem with same host. I have tried to research this behavior and found the following article ... http://www.voip-forum.com/news.php?p=187&c=1 which identifies my EXACT problem. Unfortunately I am unable to find a solution I am sure there is a workaround - but I need help with this.. Hope this is not an isolated request - I am sure there must be others in similar situations… BTW - I need the 2 different trunks with same provider - as each has different call plan and individual DID number. Cheers Ray |

| I had run into thsi problem only with DNS SRV records. My guess is that this server is using them. Also you can try registering one account to the IP address and the othere to the FQDN or hostname. I used to have three trunks registered to the same server with no problems whatsoever. I tried adding two FWD accounts and I could only use one. I think this was related to DNS SRV records. |
