| So I have my Polycom IP501's working with Asterisk 1.0.9. the system is pretty flawless; took a while to learn the secrets even with extensive board help. So each of the Polycom IP501 has three registered lines that can handle two calls (like call -waiting). Each line has a button on the phone to select it to call out and accept a call. Each line registers seperately with Asterisk and has an entry in sip.conf. I would like all incoming PSTN calls to ring every Polycom phone; i don't care which line on the phone it dials to. so the extensions.conf command is 100,2,Dial(SIP/PHONE1-LINE1&SIP/PHONE2-LINE1&SIP/PHONE2-LINE1) So when someone dials extension 100 (or a call is forwarded to extension 100) all three phone's ring on thier line 1. BUT - Sometimes the phone is being used on line 1 and I would still like the user to know a call is coming in. In that case all the other phones ring but not that phone because it is BUSY. When line 1 is busy I would like that phone's line two to ring and the other phone's line 1 to ring. I tried ChanAvail but: 100,1ChanAvail(SIP/PHONE1-LINE1) always comes back that the channel is available even when the line is BUSY. So how can I do a conditional Dial so that asterisk can do this: 100,2,Dial(SIP/PHONE1-LINE1&SIP/PHONE2-LINE1&SIP/PHONE2-LINE1,20,t) but if SIP/PHONE1-LINE1 is busy do this 100,2,Dial(SIP/PHONE1-LINE2&SIP/PHONE2-LINE1&SIP/PHONE2-LINE1,20,t) but if but if SIP/PHONE2-LINE2 is also busy do this 100,2,Dial(SIP/PHONE1-LINE2&SIP/PHONE2-LINE2&SIP/PHONE2-LINE1,20,t) I tried to call a macro upon the call be answered to increment a counter for that channel for variables but the variables only good for that channel and call and then they go away - so no memory. Any ideas? |
