Default RE: Asterisk java

Is there a reason you want to do this in Java instead of AGI or with vanilla Asterisk IVR scripting? There should be nothing standing in your way, since Asterisk is simply an application running on Linux, but it seems to me you are making your task more difficult than it needs to be.
