Default Asterisk@ home and Telasip IAX ringing issue.

When I call a cell phone on my IAX Telasip trunk I get silence on the caller end until the callee picks up. Also, if I call a PSTN number that is disconnected I don't hear the "your call cannot be completed as dialed" message; I get silence instead. I do not have either of these issues with my Voipbuster line or Voipjet and the configs are virtually identical. Telasip gave me nothing more than my username, secret, server and registration string so I'm wondering if there is a missing parameter for Asterisk or if I should be looking to Telasip to solve an issue on their end (they did mention that they are not that used to working with IAX accounts)?

Default

I set up TelaSip as a SIP trunk in AAH1.3 and I able to receive and make calls normally.

I was thinking of trying IAX but never got around to testing it.

Default Telasip SIP

I would try SIP except I'm behind a SIP-unfriendly router; IAX is my easiest choice. I'll try SIP outgoing as I have had success with that on Telasip (incoming is a no go). I guess if it works I could establish both types of trunks to Telasip.

Default RE: Telasip SIP

Why is your router "SIP-unfriendly"? Is it Symmetric NAT?
