I have a UK Pri rate ISDN which has 80 DID numbers. My out going number is 0151 555 1234 and I have an 0845 number (0845 555 1234) mapped to it.

How can I change the outgoing number to show 0845 555 1234? I have tried changing my outgoibg caller id but it still has the 0151 number.

Is there is service i have to subscribe to in the uk?

This is possible only if your ISDN service provider permits the practise. Most providers permit you to set the Calling Number ID (using the SetCIDNum instruction in the appropriate context in extensions.conf) to any DID number subscribed to that master account. Some allow you to set any number you wish and a very few insert the Calling Number ID in their switch.

I have tried that to no avail, I am going to contact BT to see if they can provide this service (they should be able to as sipgate allow you to change the outgoing callerid) The only problem is getting past the first hurdle of what to ask for as depending on who answers the phone determins what you get told.
