Default Asterisk@Home and one way audio

Hello all,
I have been searching for a solution to my Asterisk@home 2.8 problem for a while but have not yet come across any solution to my Asterisk@home problem thus, I hope for forgiveness if I have goofed up somewhere in the process and help from some bright head(s) out there in the “jungle”.

First my LAN/WAN configuration:
I am running an ADSL max 8mb with 768 up and static IP with Asterisk@home web interface enabled for wan access to the GUI via a browser as well as putty wan access.
My external IP is http://83.67.***.*** and my internal IP of the Asterisk@home box is 10.0.0.2**/255.255.255.0
I have the Asterisk@home box in a DMZ and I have opened the following ports as well:
80, 8000-8004, 4569, 5004-5082 and 10001-20000
My router is a Billion 7402VPG with FXS registering as “VoIP through IP Interface “ configured to IPLAN (to the internal Asterisk@Home IP address) as I fail to register on the Asterisk@Home box when the Billion VOIP channels are configured IPWAN to my static WAN IP. My Grandstream GPX 2000 registers fine to the Asterisk@home box via the WAN IP.

Asterisk@Home configuration
I have not done any manual configuration to any file. All configuration has been done via the web interface. All updates via yum and modules as of 29/05/06 are current.
I have five trunks and they are all registered with the respective providers.
I can make calls with no problem at all as well as receive calls.

Problem one:
So I can make calls and I can receive calls. I can probably also do all the other fancy stuff that Asterisk@home offer. What more could I ask for?
Well, when I receive an inbound call I have no audio stream coming in. The calling party hear me fine but I can’t hear them. Now, if I place the call on hold (does not work for the telephone device hold function) with Asterisk@home on #70 and hang up. Pick up the call on ext. 71 I have audio both ways???!! This issue can be replicated on PSTN calls as well as IP-IP calls. There’s no difference if the call is initiated from a local extension to another local extension…. Well, just got a brief impulse. Local call from a device registered on the Asterisk@home 10.0.0.2** to a device registered to the Asterisk@Home via the WAN IP suffers from the issue described above. However, two devices registered on the Asterisk@Home box via the 10.0.0.2** does have two way audio.

Problem two:
I have a device which is from a different IP range and subnet connected and registered to my Asterisk@home box. I can receive calls from the extension (I still can’t hear the calling party) but I can’t call that extension.

Any ideas?

Did you forward those ports as UDP or TCP?
They should be UDP.

Yep, I forwarded all ports as UDP excpt 5004-5082 which are forwarded TCP as well as UDP.
But I suppose that does not matter is the asterisk@home box is siting in a DMZ??
