Default Asterisk@Home 2.8 won't strip "411" or "555-1

I'm trying to use FreePBX to set up AAH 2.8. I want to have callers who dial "411" to reach "1-800-411-6387". I have "411" directed to my Free World Dialup trunk. I try stripping the "411" by putting "411|+18004116387" in my trunk's Dial Rules. The trunk dials "411" instead of "18004116387". Am I missing something or is this a glitch in 2.8? By the way, my previous installs of AAH worked fine so I figure there is a good chance I simply forgot how to do this correctly (single malt scotch and software are a poor mix. . . I choose to sacrifice the software).

Why not just make an extension "411"?

Default RE: Re: Asterisk@Home 2.8 won

I was about to respond to your post when I looked at my original post and saw the answer. I had typed "411|+18004116387" when it should have been "411|18004116387+". Anyway, I had a work-around with a custom trunk that worked but this is much more compact (and works, for a change).

Er, nevermind; doesn't work. Extension is the way to go. I just know I didn't do it this way in AAH 2.7. Oh well.

Thanks for the proper way to to do it.
