Default AAH-Route dialed Stana-In number to known Stanaphone Number

I've got my AAH 2.8 running great and my list of known Stanaphone users is growing. Since I know their stana-in numbers (914-xxx) but can never remember their stanaphone number (08XXXXXXX) what would be the best way of converting a dialed 1NXXNXXXXX stana-in number to the known 08XXXXXX Stanaphone number, so the call goes for free?

If I understand you correctly, you want to integrate sipbroker.com into your config. That would route the calls to Stanaphone via SIP.

This is an unfortunate byproduct of the recent segregation of StanaIn and StanaOut from the StanaPhone switching engine that was made necessary by the FCC's E911 mandate.

StanaPhone is no longer permitted to route calls for free using the StanaIn number and we are left to our own devices to develop workarounds.

About the only thing I can recommend is that you create a [stanaphone-direct] context, listing each known StanaPhone mapping directly. Here's a start along that path:

Code:
[stanaphone-direct]

exten => 12121234567,1,Goto(dial-stana,08123456,1)
exten => 13473281234,1,Goto(dial-stana,08234567,1)

[dial-stana]

exten => _08XXXXXX,1,Dial(SIP/${EXTEN}@out-stana-1234,45)
exten => _08XXXXXX,2,Congestion
You will also need to create the necessary diversion in your outbound CoS context so that StanaPhone calls are picked off before they would have gone out via your main provider (even if that's StanaOut). Unfortunately, there is no longer a way to fully automate this function, nor is there a published list that maps all StanaIn numbers to their respective 08xxxxxx numbers.

Does this help?

Good deal. I was tempted to continue, but as I was running out of steam I figured that you would come back for more if that wasn't enough to prime your pump.

My asterisk education came from NerdVittles. com. A little AMP/FreePBX and some extensions_custom.conf for good measure and completeness... I have an incoming stanaphone-in context which processed the individual stanain numbers as they came in. After taking your lead from above, I just needed to insert a few extra lines to convert the incoming stanaphone numbers to the stanain number. exten => 0813XXXX,1,goto(914XXXXXXX,1).
