Default AAH - Outgoing caller id

Hi,

I have having problems getting my outgoing caller id to work in aah.

If I make a call via sipgate (number 01511116666) using Xlite directly to sipgate and i set my outgoing caller id to say 01515551234 the outgoing caller id at the remote end is displayed as 01515551234.

If I then make the same call via my asterisk@home server and set the outgoing caller id in either or both the trunk or outgoing routing it shows the original sipgate number of 01511116666.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

TIA

Derek

Default RE: AAH - Outgoing caller id

It is pretty well documented here (as recently as yesterday) that the ability to set your own Calling Number ID is totally dependent upon your service provider. You may set your own number only if sipgate permits it. Most service providers do not permit this ability.
